Our Silver Anniversary (Minus 45 Years)

So... Its our (5) year anniversary, and we had no particular plans outside of Dinner at Vito's Chophouse, and a few hours together. Missy & John offered to watch little-man on what would have been our first night without him. A little nervous, but fully confident, we knew he was in good hands. Like John said... "Its not like you're going to come back and find him with a tattoo or anything"!So we left. We wandered over to McDonalds and shared a medium french fries before mozying over to the Kohls to buy some new rugs for the bathroom. Holding hands as we walked up to the cash register I believe it was that moment that we realized that we didn't know what to do with each other..
It had been so long since we had actually been on a date that we forgot what one really was. It was great getting to figure it out all over again. The 45 minute drive downtown to Vitos was just as exciting, and dinner was excellent. Kenrick asked if we could skip dessert because he was missing our little one so we decided to head on back. When we got there lil' man was so happy, content and all in one piece. When we got home I carefully unwrapped his sleepy body to put him in his jammies, when Kenrick shouted behind me.... What is that????!!!!! This is what we found accross his chest.....A tattoooo! A "punk rock" tatoo at that.. I laughed so hard it hurt, praying that no one would see it at church the next day...Kenrick is still planning his revenge.
