Marian Gets Married! - Ghana W.Africa

Congratulations to the Newlyweds!

To my cousin Marian, you are a beautiful bride indeed. Wish I could have been in Ghana to see the events unfold. The pics however, were lovely. I'm still amazed of how much you favor an earlier picture of my mother. Marrying the love of one's life brings a peace that passes all understanding, and is surely one of my most cherished moments. I wish that same joy for you. I suppose since I've been living with this "arrangement" for some time, I'm now qualified to give a bit of advice.

Well... here goes....

Love him like its going out of style. Choose his side (even if it seems to be the the wrong one at first). Know that there will come a time to forsake all others. Its kind of in the fine print. Don't worry. Though some won't understand, the ones that matter will always come back.

Never carry fights beyond the day's end, for the bible says, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities. Remember that money, while necessary is nothing more than the source of much strife,so exercise wisdom in spending and saving it. Pray (together) about all things, (even the little ones), and you will never lose your way. And lastly, may the gifts of laughter and the pitter patter of little feet fill your home with love always.

Love,

Your Cousin

Sammia
